The Homestead Resort - Wedding Photography

Where the valley holds your story

A historic Victorian resort tucked into the Heber Valley, surrounded by the Wasatch Mountains on all sides. The Homestead has a warmth and character that newer venues simply cannot manufacture, original buildings, mature trees, and a hot springs crater on the property that doubles as one of the most unusual portrait locations in the state.

The crater is a unique detail shot opportunity, the circular opening frames the sky beautifully. The mature cottonwood trees on the property create dappled natural light in the afternoon that is incredibly flattering for portraits. The valley location means softer, more even light than exposed mountain venues. Fall foliage here typically peaks in October and turns the entire property gold.
